2023 Mural Camp (Adults)

Ramiro Davaro-Comas' class will be a thorough introduction to painting murals. On Saturday, the camp will be in a classroom setting with an introduction to the artist and will cover topics such as wall selection, wall prep, lifts, insurance, OSHA training, a variety of different techniques to get the image onto the wall, pricing your mural, info on applying to open call mural projects, followed by a Q&A.
On Sunday the class will explore the walls of Indiana, PA, and will have hands-on opportunities to learn three different techniques as projecting an image, the squiggle grid, and painting on parachute cloth.
Our goal is to introduce the artists to all of these different topics, answer any questions they may have, and leave them with a solid understanding of the mural painting process. his class is geared toward artists starting out with their first murals. This class is geared toward artists starting out with their first murals. We will be using spray paint as well as exterior latex paint.
Class size is limited. Please fill out the registration below by April 25, 2023. You will be informed by April 30, 2023 of your participation and details of the program.
Please note that both Saturday and Sunday, May 6 and 7, will be from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
