New Murals Unveiled in Homer City

Four new murals were unveiled in Homer City this past month. Artists Ramiro Davaro-Comas, Frank the Painter, and Sea of Doom were painting in downtown Homer City for a week, creating murals that celebrate local animals. Frank the Painter brought a two-story raccoon to life on the back of the Trendy Trades building while on the same building, Sea of Doom created a vibrant, colorful fox to welcome folks to town at the Stop sign. These two painters realized other colorful creatures, a bird and a bat, on the garage doors of the Borough’s garage, next to Fox’s Pizza. Ramiro Davaro-Comas created one large-scale mural that says “Homer City” on the side of the Disobident Spirits building.

Thank to all our volunteers who helped to prepare the walls and the businesses and individuals who supported this project! Special thank you to the funders who donated in person and on GoFundMe (https://www.gofundme.com/f/murals-in-homer-city):
